AKWA Guesthouse is perfectly located at the beginning of the center in Chaweng on Samui. Impressively decorated in funky pop art, style, all rooms features different decoration. No matter if you decide to stay in a Standard Room or if you go for the exclusive Penthouse, you will always be amazed of the unique décor. Even we consider ourselves a guesthouse, we offer all services and facilities of an up market hotel. Just across the road from the beach and a few steps from busy shopping and nightlife center is on the ground floor Akwa’s restaurant it is one of the most well-known places to be seen. Watch a funny movie on our huge TVs, enjoy our all-day-long breakfast or choose a shake and other delicious culinary options.

Accommodation and facilities:
This experience is terrible.The room maybe could not lock the door, and the light could not off. The whole night we could not off the light and sleep under it. And the rooms need walk a little far from the Akwa Bar, not upstair.Some corners of the room leak the water from upstair. I think I should be get a better room for this price, at least it is clean and safe.

aircon and wifi was not working as it should be, the room is big and clean. as it is not loacated in the center of chaweng beach road, there is almost no street noise and no disco noise

This was a true nightmare, worst location, the pool was un usable to say the least and the room..... There was dripping water above a window, mould on the ceiling, the room smells of damp, it was dirty and grimy, and when we complained to the receptionist they were very un helpfull and said there was nothing they could do. The minimum stay is 7 nights, this is how they trap you because no-one would ever stay this long otherwise, we lost our money and found another hotel in a better location.

It was easy to book but the pictures were truly misleading, it was more like a hostel than a hotel, also the description was misleading.

We stay 5 nights from 25 Oct to 30 Oct 2011 at Akwa Std Room, which is about 200m away from the main reception or the cafe. The room is clean, comfortable but quite run down. Water pressure is low. No ventilation at toilet, Aircon is noisy. My room is 304, avoid rm 101, its stink inside.

Чисто,в номере есть питьевая вода (помимо мини-бара),кофе,чай,чайник - отлично,ненавязчивый персонал.Единственное но - излишне сексуальная направленность во всей отделке номера и нет собственного пляжа - надо проходить через чужой ресорт.Чтобы избежать любопытных глаз из отеля напротив(или с улицы)необходимо задергивать шторы даже днем.А в целом очень подходит на(пару дней)для тех,кто не смог сразу подобрать отель,либо для приехаших за приключениями.

We stayed in standard room and we wouldn t stay there again. Very small room no place for our staff. Very wet. Fridge turns off when you leave the room. Ants. Pets allowed was claimed, but we had to pay some extra for a cat. pros: near great beach, good personnel, everyday room service, reasonable price for room.
